MMS: MAD Music Shuffle

A Live Music Experiment Like No Other

Create. Shuffle. Perform.

MAD Music Shuffle (MMS) is where music meets spontaneity. It’s a groundbreaking live music experience that challenges artists to step outside their comfort zones and create unforgettable tracks on the spot.

No rehearsals. No second takes. Just pure, unfiltered musical magic.

MMS is a creative challenge where artists respond to randomised cue cards featuring different genres, tempos, and themes—leading to spontaneous compositions, unexpected collaborations, and electrifying performances in front of a live audience.

With every shuffle, the stakes get higher. Artists push their limits, creating one-of-a-kind musical moments that will never be repeated.

MMS is more than an event—it’s a music movement redefining how artists create and collaborate. Each edition brings a fresh twist

MMS 25.1 – Club Edition

04.07.2025
In this special edition of MAD Music Shuffle, we teamed up with the legends at Santuri East Africa to hand the Shuffle over to the DJs.

Armed with a stack of shuffled prompts — genres, moods, BPM twists— each DJ had to build their set live with no prep, no playlist, and no turning back.

MMS 25 – Studio Edition

05.04.2025
MMS 25 unfolded as an intimate, impromptu studio gathering with MRE artists and a few close friends. With no plan and no structure, we pulled a forgotten beat from the Mmojo vault and let the room take over. One by one, artists stepped to the mic—freestyling, experimenting, and feeding off the raw energy of the moment.

What emerged was a spontaneous, unfiltered exchange of creativity: the pure spirit of MMS. No stage, no audience, just artists sharpening each other and rediscovering the joy of making music for the sake of it.

MMS 24 – Premiere

15.12.2024
For the very first Shuffle, we brought together a fiery lineup of artists and the powerhouse band Clef & Bandana— then hit record.
With nothing but shuffled prompts and raw chemistry, artists built fun, off-the-cuff songs live on stage, while Clef & Bandana laid down grooves in real time.
